Skylark Guitars is an independent, customer focused guitar retailer with a diverse and unique product range. Established in 2005, we are focused on importing high quality guitars direct from selected manufacturers in the China and South Korea.

We sell direct to you the customer through our website, ebay and increasingly by person via our showroom. We pride ourselves on a personal, efficient and helpful service. All instruments are checked and played prior to despatch and most are supplied with a high quality fitted case.

In 2008 we opened our office and storage facility at our Shropshire base, all fully air-conditioned throughout. In July 2009, due to increased numbers of visitors we launched of our new showroom, where buyers can visit and audition our great range of instruments prior to purchase. Visitors are welcome by appointment, where in an informal setting you can try out a wide range of guitars and accessories and benefit from our many years experience.

We guarantee a personal and helpful environment ,have over 400 guitars in stock and guarantee no hard sell. Tea and biccies are usually on tap too.


Concentrating on speciality guitars such as Jazz, Semi-acoustic, Resonators and Electro-acoustic models, we now have strong relationships with several manufacturers ranging from traditional handcrafted producers to state of the art computer controlled manufacturing.
This gives us a diverse product range with many unique and exclusive models to offer. Subsequently we have added good quality budget electric guitars to the range as well as a selection of accessories and amps.


We can match the quality and range of many branded instruments at a fraction of the price. Director Steve Alden has played guitar for more than forty years and currently plays guitar for live band Rhythm Zoo. He can knowledgeably discuss your needs and requirements and advise on a suitable instrument.
