Electro-Acoustic
Principally acoustic style guitars fitted with an undersaddle piezo transducer and preamp/EQ system. Equally at home as acoustic instruments, amplified for live performance or for recording this is a logical extension of the standard acoustic without the hassle of mic-ing up. We stock a good selection in most acoustic body styles and additionally wooden roundback, polymer roundback and classical versions. Most of our electros are hand built in limited numbers the majority with solid tops. Like the acoustic range, the tonal qualities are strongly influenced by wood type, body shape and construction and with great quality undersaddle transducers and multiband EQ preamps fitted, amplified tones are expanded greatly.
