Jazz Guitars
A selection of archtop semi acoustic jazz models. Mostly solid woods and incorporating single and twin humbucker pickup systems. These models offer lovely woody tones and overall smooth mellow amplified characteristics. Great playability goes without saying, these instruments will improve with age.
Also a selection of Maccaferri style acoustic Jazz guitars for the bright tone and volume associated with Gypsy jazz guitar styles

Semi-acoustic Guitars
A range of guitars which bridge the gap between solid bodied electrics and Acoustics. In some respects there are similarities to the Jazz guitar in construction and pickups but tend to be smaller bodied and often chambered to reduce feedback at higher amplified volume. Can be played acoustically and often a hollow body version of a solid electric model. Extremely versatile instruments suitable for Jazz, blues, rock.

Electro-acoustic Guitars
Principally acoustic style guitars fitted with an undersaddle piezo transducer and preamp/EQ system. These guitars can be used acoustically or amplified for live use without the hassle of micing up. We have a selection in most acoustic body styles and additionally roundback type guitars and classical versions. Versatile instruments for most styles of music and particularly useful for recording.

Resonator Guitars
Resonators were originally designed to be louder than conventional guitars for use in dance bands and incorporate 1 or more metal cones in place of a wooden top. With this comes a unique tone commonly used for blues and bluegrass and often played as a slide guitar. Latest generation guitars have combined these guitars with a pickup system to produce an amplified version. We have a selection of acoustic and electro resonators in a number of styles.

Ukeleles
Originating from Hawaii, Ukuleles bear a strong resemblance to guitars and come in a number of sizes – soprano, concert, tenor and baritone. Tuning is similar to the guitar. A fantastically portable instrument which can be played in many styles. We stock a full range at a number of price points suitable for the beginner to the more experienced player.

Acoustic Guitars
Acoustics come in a wide range of shapes and sizes all with their own sound and characteristics. A common starter guitar, we stock a wide range of types covering classical nylon strung guitars, 12 strings with their unique orchestral sound, dreadnought, Jumbo, Parlour, cutaway style

Electric Guitars
The solid body electric guitar has been around for about 80 years and is probably the most widely used instrument in all styles of music. Having few acoustic attributes it needs to be amplified in order to be heard. It continues to evolve and there is an incredible range of models available. We stock our own custom models and top quality copy models at various price points, from starter to pro standard.

Bass Guitars
The electric bass is as diverse as the electric guitar and is used in all styles of music. We have a selected range of solid, electro-acoustic and copy models including the violin bass.

Specialist Guitars
We have an exclusive range of Specialist models including lap steel models, Travel guitars, The Open neck acoustic/Electroacoustic and “silent” guitars.
