 | Back at last the stunning "Django" style guitar inspired by the famous Selmer Maccaferri classics of the 1930's and 40's. The guitar features a beautiful solid cedar top which gives a lovely bass response with characteristic small oval soundhole and inlay rosette.
The back and sides are constructed using Rosewood. A rosewood fingerboard is set into a one piece mahogany neck incorporating pearl position dots, zero fret and adjustable truss rod. The bridge is constructed using rosewood and features an authentic brass plated trapeze tailpiece. The guitar is finished with a high gloss lacquer finish.
This guitar incorporates all the classic elements associated with this style of guitar and produces that true cutting Maccaferri tone, ideal for jazz chording and melody playing. But also makes a great instrument for blues and slide guitar. | | | | | Maccaferri Soundclip, courtesy of Tony Holt
