Resonator Guitars

Resonators were originally designed to be louder than conventional guitars for use in dance bands and incorporate 1 or more metal cones in place of a wooden top. With this comes a unique tone commonly used for blues and bluegrass and often played as a slide guitar. Our range includes tricones, metal bodied single cone "biscuit" models and wooden bodied “spider” models. Latest generation guitars have combined these guitars with a pickup system to produce an amplified version. We have a constantly changing selection of acoustic and electro resonators in a number of styles at affordable prices. Our latest TwinMode models combine both magnetic pickup with an undersaddle Piezo transducer pickup and a blend control for an infinite range of tones.
