Skylark Violin Bass Guitar with Maple Finish
Originating in 1956 , the Violin amplified semi-acoustic bass revolutionized popular music. With its historical significance and its warm, woody, double-bass-like amplified tone the Violin Bass is a unique instrument with a smooth, sweet sound and a playing ease that simply eludes most ordinary basses.
The "Beatles Bass" remains second to none with its distinctive sound and fantastic playability of this lightweight semi-acoustic bass. This Skylark version comes with Flamed Maple top, maple back and sides in a natural finish.
The hard maple neck incorporates a Rosewood fretboard, with Mother-of-pearl dots. The rosewood bridge has movable metal saddles for perfect intonation and string spacing and is matched with trapeze tailpiece in chrome with floating pickguard, 2 humbucking pickups.
Control panel with 2 volume controls, 2 on/off switches, rhythm/solo switch for volume boost this is a faithful copy of the original and comes with a quality fitted hard case.
